Map 2011 hang on launch

I occasionally have Map 2011 hang on launch, though it looks accessable. It always takes me a few minutes to remember that sometimes the Commucation Center process (WSCommCtr2.exe) can cause a hang.  I usually just go into Task Manager and stop the process, but if this is a major problem for you, you can turn the process off permanently via the registry.  Just reset

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.1\ACAD-9002-409
\InfoCenter\InfoCenterOn
 
to 0, and you should be set (as long as you don't need the Communication Center).
